Lukoil President Vagit Alekperov has named the new Eurasia Drilling Co. jackup Neptune at a ceremony in Astrakhan. The rig is designed to drill wells in the Caspian Sea with a measured depth of up to 9,000 m (29,527 ft) and in water depths from 4.8-105 m (15.7-344 ft) .
